"And it is He who has joined the two seas: one sweet and palatable and the other saltish and bitter; and He has set a barrier and an insurmountable obstruction between the two that keeps them apart - Holy Quran, Surah Furqan 25:53
"He unleashed the two seas so that they merge together, and yet there is a barrier between them which they may not overstep
So which of the favours of your Lord would you deny" - Holy Quran, Surah Ar-Rahman 55:19-21
Day 16 | Unbreakable
He chose you.
Do you feel the gravity of those words?
He. Chose. You.
The One who created the sun and the moon and the stars in all their majesty, who mapped out countries separated by the infinite depths of the oceans, who said "be" and so the flowers blossomed and the animals thrived and the first man to ever walk this earth took his first breath after being fashioned from just a speck of dust, He chose you.
He calls you back. Time and time again. Because billions upon billions of years ago, He chose your soul to be gifted with the gift of faith. He declared you worthy. By some miracle, against all the odds, He somehow deemed you and I worthy of believing...and tell me now, does that not make you of the unbreakable?
Do you feel the gravity of those words?
He. Chose. You.
The One who created the sun and the moon and the stars in all their majesty, who mapped out countries separated by the infinite depths of the oceans, who said "be" and so the flowers blossomed and the animals thrived and the first man to ever walk this earth took his first breath after being fashioned from just a speck of dust, He chose you.
He plucked your soul and breathed into it wisdom, whispered into it knowledge. He bestowed upon it an incontrovertible truth, placed within it faith in something not quite of the material world and spoke to it in a foreign language that your soul still clings to with a familiarity that it can't quite put its finger on. And sometimes the words are forgotten, the tongue slips, but yet somehow you always find your way back to Him.
